Tutorial - Grease Traps
When is a grease trap necessary?
Grease traps are required for any facility that is expected to generate a significantly greater amount of fats, oils and grease (FOG) than could be handled by a standard septic tank. Grease traps are typically required for:
- Nursing homes
- Cafeterias (at schools, camps, commercial properties, etc.)
